Plugs n wires

Looking for recommendations for new plugs and wires for a 5.7 Mercruiser Horizon, any better or worse than others ?

    Check out MSD Direct Fit plug wires.  I use them on my 496s because they were about half the price of the absurdly expensive OEM wires.  Quality and performance seem fine to me.

    I recently installed NGK V-Power TR52238 spark plugs in my V-P 5.0. I'm very happy with how they improved the running of the engine and boat performance. Of course check with the manufacturer for the exact type for your Merc. before purchase. Andy

    Ac delco 41-101 I believe is the new number. They are iridium and about 9 bucks a plug. @LaRea is correct the msd is a good wire less then 50ohm per ft. Stock wire losses about 100ohm per ft.
