Cruising the North Channel this summer

Is it possible to cruise the North channel and cross into Canada? Or are there still Covid restrictions?  I would be leaving from Sturgeon Bay WI.

I'm sure our friends to the north will have better info, but I'm also on the GreatLoop.org forum, and as of now the border is still closed to US recreational marine crossings. With the vaccine ramping up things may change by the time boating season starts.

Still closed. If it does open I wouldn't expect it to be until later in the year and there is a good possibility you'll be required to show proof of vaccination and a negative Covid test.

Story about the border from the CBC today...

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/canada-border-restriction-reopening-1.5948695

Story in a nutshell: Still closed. Canada has no plan to reopen the border anytime soon. US putting pressure to partially open in May, fully open in July.
