Mercruiser Water Distribution options?

My Setup:
2010 Merc 377 with closed cooling and Axius

My water distribution house  has a slight leak.
My system has the air activated drain setup.
I live in South Florida and boat all year and never drain the system.

It is hard to find a replacement in stock, but i get a NON air activated version.

Can I replace the housing with a non air activated one?

I think I’ve read where people have eliminated them also.
