Radar Mounting Location

I am going to install my radar( Garmin 404HD open pedestal ) in the hardtop, but I am wonder where it should be the best location meaning closed to the edge of the front of the hardtop of more aft. I also notice the hardtop has two set screws lifting point about 12 inches back from the edge of the front of the hardtop. Should I use this holes as references. Any ideas will be appreciate. Thx

Yes, that lifting point will be the strongest location.  On the bottom, you have three access panels for the ceiling lights.  I would put it above one of those panels so you have easy access to bolts and wiring.

Looking good @oscar1! Wish I had the hardtop. That - and the dark blue hull - were our compromises when we got our 310. I wish I had the hardtop and an all white hull.

My was without hardtop when I got it from the dealer, but I was lucky  to find a factory hardtop to replace the bimini top in my boat. It is being a lot of "work", but it was worthy.

Let's see ... who has more antennas:  @oscar1 or the USS Missouri?

 I know the USN have a lot of antennas and Gun, because I was station at the USS John F Kennedy in Mayport  Fl, USS Nassau in Norfolk Virginia and finally USS Blue Ridge in Yokosuka Japan, so to be clear I am very proud to know them very well.
