Just bought a used Q3

Hello,

I have a couple questions for fellow Q3 owners.

1. Where do you hook up to pull inner tubes? I understand the ski tower isn’t strong enough for tubes. Should I use the 2 lifting rings on the stern instead?

2. Mine doesn’t have the stow-n-step seats. Can those two hollow areas be used as coolers, or are they just storage? I don’t want to fill them up with ice, and soda only to find out they don’t drain.

OP here.

Sorry, it was just pointed out to me that I should have called it-the retractable ski pylon instead of the tower. We don’t have a ski tower on our boat. 

Someone told me that the retractable ski pylon is only rated for the stress of a single skier, and that the added drag of a tube would break it.
