Rinker 400 vacuflush

Any one changed the duck valves in Rinker 400?  Wondering if it makes sense to put in an access hatch under the seat versus going behind ice maker.

I would not put in an access door because the seat above it is a nice sealed area. Also, you should not need to get in there too often.

I would put the access door under the seat in the storage compartment.   I am concerned about being able to reach the pump with it being under the seat.  It looks like a long reach to access behind the ice maker.

Yes I know exactly what you are saying, but that then makes the cockpit area no longer sealed.  (Like if you left canvas off and it rains, water can get into other areas under that seat). I know someone that did cut that area and now wishes they hadn't.  It is a bit more difficult to access thru the ice maker, but it can be done.
