Water Fill Assembly

Has anyone replaced their water fill assembly? What did you use? I would like to go with one that doesn’t have a plastic cap. My current one is pitted and the cap won’t screw all the way down because the threads are pitted also.

I spent hours on this topic and gave up because I did not want to drill new holes and because I couldn’t find a waste and water to match (ocd).

Yea, that’s what I’m starting to see. It’s crazy how something so simple to replace ends up being so difficult!!

I lost the cap and couldn't find one that fit correctly. Just left it off... and it's been that way for a few years  - I use a lot of water living on the boat on the weekends...so it hasn't been a problem.

This one looks like it’s a match to the hole spacing and correct orientation. Do you think the cap is tethered?

That is identical to my boat. The cap on mine has a piece of plastic on the back that keeps the cap tethered.

Normally the water is tethered and waste is not so I would assume so.

If one of you engineers can figure out how to make it in 3D printing on tinkercad.com I'll print them and send them out
