Toilet is leaking

Hello everyone. I have a 2002 342 fiesta vee, my toilet is leaking in the bathroom floor. I was thinking a seal at the bottom or something like that. Any experience with this anyone?

@cls10105 while you have everything apart replace the seals also.

Aero that looks like a vaccine flush? I’m sure he has a jabsco electric. 

Cls they make a seal repair kit for around $50 but it is very hit or miss as to it working or not. Your best off replacing the motor and housing. It is around $200 and it’s everything below the bowl. Will work like new for years to come.

Would not be vacuflush in a 2002.  Electric. If leaking probably the macerator connections in the toilet base.

The plastic cover on the bottom left of the toilet. It just pops off. You can easily see all the connections and where it is leaking.

This is what will fix it for sure. New pump and the housing that seals in to the base. But again you can get a rebuild kit and try to replace the seals first. I’ve used the seal kit three times. Once it worked and twice it still leaked and I ordered this and all good (was two different boats, same jabsco electric toilet).

Here is the seal kit. Worked for me when I did my 2003 310 last year.  Lots of dyi videos from jabsco on YouTube including installing this kit.

Pat $20 for that kit is a great deal. Used to be $50. For that I’d try the rebuild first.

When I got the kit the shaft seal was wrong, I got another seal from a different company. Right numbers but for some reason th kit had a seal with a flat key way even though @Pat310 said he’s was fine.

For the electric toilet, it's not too bad digging in and replacing the parts.  Most are pretty accessible only having to take minimal amount of parts off to get to anything.  You should replace the joker valve while you are in there.

I will have to read a find out about a joker valve but going to try and see how it goes. My wife is very unhappy with the toilet. Thanks to all of you for the help!

watch out for wood rot below the fiberglass.  Had an issue with that on my Rinker and had to get creative with the fix.

@cls10105 I believe the part number you posted is for your entire toilet assembly rather then the specific part your looking for.

Wish I could answer but all I can give you is the assembly that worked perfectly in my 2006 342 which had the original jabsco electric toilet in it. If yours is original then it should work, but it’s always possible that it is updated and thus what I sent is not correct.
