Engine Battery & House Battery

2007 Rinker 280 Express

as you looking into the Engine bay which is the Engine battery and which is the house battery, not sure if the previous owner has got them mixed up, the positive cables are different sizes, the nearest battery has the smaller cable and the furthest battery has a larger cable
Any help appreciated

    I believe the battery closest to the stern is engine and the one forward of that is house. This could be different though if someone changed things around.

    That’s exactly how my 270 is set up. The battery nearest the stern is the starting battery

    On my 2008 280EC, the battery to the stern is the starting battery and the one forward of it is the house like what Aqua stated.
