Help finding capacitor

I posted months ago that twice last fall, my cockpit ac breaker flipped while running the boat with heat on. Salon all good. Once flipped back, good all day. I replaced the breaker over the winter as that’s an easy troubleshoot but I’d like to replace the capacitor too. This unit is in constant high heat heat, and is not used often….two things bad for a capacitor. Also it is very easy to get to for a pro active fix. But….. I can’t find a replacement!

here it is, any ideas on a replacement?

As long as you find something that meets the minimums and has the proper connections wouldn't it work. Capacitor is kinda like a battery and as you we know we use all different types of batteries in the same applications. RV repair place or Marine repair may be able to guide you better.

You don't want to increase the uf by more than 20%.

Luckily it's nothing fancy like say a flux capacitror

Thanks for the quick and thorough responses! I bought the second one that @skennelly posted as it has the same spec's and is the same brand. I assumed that I needed to match the part number on the capacitor which is not out there anywhere. Thanks for the education in capacitors!

I know your right @Handymans342 but I’ll feel better knowing it’s new even if the old one is ok. Have had it in my head since fall to replace the capacitor and I need to make room in my head for a new concern!

Check the old one and if it's good add it to the boat parts pile 🙂
