Are there any suggestions of how to fix it. Is there a fuse box? The light on the switch is on and off but there are no running lights

    It might just be the bulbs.  Those "festoon" bulbs don't last very long.  Unscrew the cover and take the bulb out to see if it's blown.  Sometimes, it's just corrosion in the contacts, and all you need to do is reseat the bulb.
