One side of dual tach not working

My Faria dual tach is only working on the starboard side. It was like this when I purchased the boat, so I sent it to Faria for service, thinking the tach was bad. They sent me a new tach and it still doesn’t work on the port side. My boat is a 2007 so it’s definitely smart craft, everything else associated with the port engine works as it should. Any ideas on where I should start troubleshooting? The hour meter doesn’t register either although it displays 0 hours.
