Boat Shop in New York area

I am looking for a reliable mechanic shop for my 2014 Rinker 360 Express Cruiser,  as I had been using the one at Manhansett bay, New York ,  Every year there is new problem and new bills to fix the boat, I am getting to a point that I dont even know if they are capable to fix and maintain the boat, i am paying more and more every year to fix, while my using time is less and less every year,    they told me Rinker boat is not build for salt water,  I was like a boat not build for salt water, so I am suppose to use at swimming pool?   Is rinker boat that suck or is the mechanic suck? Very frustrating

You definitely need a new shop. All of the components that they are working on are used in every brand, mercruiser engines and kohler generators are used all over the place in saltwater. Same with Jabsco pumps.

Inboard/outboard isn't as popular with salt water boaters.  That being said, with proper maintenance there isn't any reason one shouldnt get many trouble free years, decades even, out of a salt water boat.  Plenty of volvo Penta and mercruiser owners in sunny Florida that boat near if not all year long. 

The inboard/outboard is much less convenient to work on than an outboard that doesn't require you to stand on your head to change a starter.

@PickleRick , I have to disagree. I would say there’s just as many I/O’s here as there are outboards and inboards. No reason why fresh or salt would make a difference. Yes, there are some design flaws in the transom assembly but fresh water boats deal with those flaws also.

My generalisation was based only on the boating grounds I visit.  Center consoles, pontoons and the infamous wakeboard boats are the most common boats I see on the water.  I don't frequent marinas often.  
Bass boats are still very popular back home but center consoles have been gaining on them quickly.

well , just spend 10k to change the 4 exhaust pipes, according to mechanic, these pipe can only last 4 years, as salt will build up inside and caused damages.

I am in Manhassett Bay also. This winter I installed fresh water kits on both engines. Now when I get back to the dock, I hook up the hose to the motors and flush them with fresh water hopefully adding a coupler of years to the manifolds and risers. I installed the Mercruiser OEM ones but there are a few options out there. Here’s a link to the ones I installed:

@JOESONKO I know the marina you are at from your photos. Very high end.  I’m down the block at Tom’s point. More family oriented and not as many amenities. Mechanics are not certified but I do most of my own work anyway. 🤷‍♂️
