Anyone retrofit closed cooling kit?

So I am having a new long block installed in my 3006 Firsts Vee 270. My engine is currently raw water cooled and I am in salt water. I would really like to add closed cooling while the engine is out of the boat. Has anybody ever done this? My engine is a Volvo Penta 5.7 GXI. Thoughts? Opinions?

@Sej1969 had it installed on her VP 8.1. It can probably be done. Not sure of the cost.
