kneedeep Member Posts: 103 ✭✭✭MT, I have an 09 340, 350's, b3's. 4 people, full fuel, luggage, etc., it planes fine. 6+ people it takes longer to plane. We often have a large crowd. It rides nice at 3800 rpm's, 24 knots & it stays on plane. Any less than that & you have to play with the throttles or else it starts to fall off plane. I wish I had a bit more power, as I'd like to cruise on plane below 3500 rpm's. not sure if the 6.2's would add enough juice to make that possible. Also not sure if they offered the boat with the 8's. where are you from? I'm in mass & could take you for a ride if you're nearby.

OldDogNewTrix Member Posts: 166 ✭✭✭Actually I'm just down the river from you MT. Sorry we didn't get to meet up but you probably saw my post about the break down. Leaving Confed Basin tomorrow morning for the Rideau. As knee deep says, the 5.7's are adequate. Not sure what engine options are available.Wayne '09 340 EC
