Hey Michael ... I agree, used to boat there for years too until I moved to Toronto. Now, I boat in Georgian Bay and nothing beats the 30,000 islands for mega boating. I still love Alexandria boating too, just watch out for the 1,000 ft ships...

We are in the 1000 islands also. I live in New Brunswick so it wasn't feasible to ship up our 2008 rinker 330. We rented a Rinker 186 from lens cove marine. Boy do I appreciate my 330. We have had a great two weeks in the area including the poker run.

I grew up boating on the river. We love swimming and snorkeling the most. These are the trips I miss a trailer able boat. Our big boat is for sale and planning is to down size for a few years.

Just missed both MT and Rocketman. We were in ABay last week then back to the islands. We stayed over at the TI club, very, very nice marina! Started back up the Rideau towards our home at Len's Cove this morning.
