couple of questions I could use some help with:
1) I am looking for a winch handle for my Lewmar pro series 1000 windlass. The shape of the hole where the handle is inserted is square. does anyone have any suggestions?
2) I want to reduce the tension on the gypsy by reducing the weight from the anchor and chain but don't want to use a chain stopper. I have seen a cable and mounting bracket that can be used but I don't know the name of this mechanism. Can you get the pieces from a hardware store and make it yourself?
Thanks

BTW- I noticed that you are on Long Island. I was born and raised in West Islip. Was a clam digger on the Great South Bay during my younger years. 3 of my sisters still live on LI. Amityville, Islip and Peconic.
I see that your boat is a 330 EC. I have a 350 EC. I posted a request several months ago after purchasing my Rinker about a transome door. Unfortunately when I purchased my boat it did not have a transome door. If you have one on your boat could I ask you to make a paper template of your transom door so that I can have one fabricated? Since Rinker is no longer in business I cannot get one from the manufacturer. I know someone who can make it out of starboard. I will pay you for whatever materials you need to buy i.e. paper, cardboard, etc.
Let me know if this is a possibility.
Thank you.
