2008 260 ec 5.7 MAG MPI bravo 3 drive
I am looking for the original set up of the propellers for this boat .Previous owner changed props to unsuitable set up. My hull id is USRNK89261D708. They installed a set of quicksilver props., the one box says part number qa1912x, dia.-15", pitch-17, rotation-3rh.
I would like to get it back to the original set up that rinker intended it to be. My rinker is the best, quality, dependability, and always turns heads. Rigth now it seems near or at WOT 4400- 5000, she burns a bit of oil, and I'm told that she is working to hard, hence the prop questions.

WOT at 5000 rpm is fine. I'm sure you know you should not be travelling at WOT for extended periods. There's a recent post on the 280 and performance expectations. I have a 260 EC, and it sounds like my performance is very similar to the 280. I have a Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI 5.7L, with Bravo 3, fitted with 20P props. This is what came with the boat (I bought it brand new).
At 4800 rpm (my WOT), with flat water, and engine trimmed up a little, tabs trimmed up all the way, I get around 42 mph. I like to cruise around 3600 - 4000 rpm, that gets me around 22 - 30 mph.
With my family on board and trim tabs down, my hole shot is around 7 seconds.
Try operating just under 4000 rpm for extended periods, you should have NO oil burn.

Good question, don't know the diameter, but I've attached a pic of when the boat was out of the water, perhaps you can ratio based on the picture (ratio of cowel diameter to prop length on the lower blade on the back prop?
