Perfect weekend

The lake was perfect and so was the weather this weekend. Decided to make the run to Chicago and see if we could catch some of the planes practicing for the air and water show. No luck, but it was worth the trip anyway!!! The first ones are coming into Navy Pier/Burnham Harbor (if you click on the 2nd to last you will see the Navy Pier sign) and the last one is heading back to home port.  And yes the yellow boat in the 2nd picture is  is the Sea Dog coming back into port (huge jet boat that runs tours out of Navy Pier).

Great Pictures my weekend was not so pretty Bravo pump went out then I discovered the engine water pump was leaking but all is well now just my wallet is a little thinner.

Here we are flying over Chicago on our way to the Wisconsin Airshow, then back over Chicago to Gary Indiana (that's where we were stationed for the Chicago Airshow). This is one of my favorite pics. When I first joined the team this was a pic I took on my first flight. Over the Atlantic off the coast of Long Island.

Now those are great pics!!!  The videos are great.  Thanks so much for sharing.  It's pretty cool how you have the same aerial pics of the port I was taking pics of.  So boats and planes.....Pretty frickin' cool.

You know the funny thing is I saw one of your guys on WGN news that morning and that was what got me moving that way to see the practice. Unfortunately was whooped that morning from work the night before and didn't get to Chicago until 1230. Would have been neat to catch some pictures of you from the water and posted it.
