Pulley Bearing noise?

My Starboard Mercruiser 377 has started making a noise.  I am hoping it is just a one of the idler pulley or tensioner pulley.
What is the best way to pin point which one has the bad bearing?

The easiest way is to just change both. If one is going the other may not be far behind. They aren't overly expensive and you have to release the tensioner anyway to change either. No sense doing the work twice. Whichever one is still "ok" (if in fact it is) goes in the parts box as an emergency spare. Oh, and make your job easier by loosening off the bolts before taking the tension off.

When you remove the belt you may be able to determine which one is bad. For me it was the one under the alternator.

From a preventative standpoint, if one has failed and is squeaking, go ahead and replace both.
