Generator Cooling

My Generator need coolant what is the best to put in

Operator manual says:  "Use a solution of 50% ethylene glycol and 50% clean, softened water to inhibit rust/corrosion and prevent freezing."  So I guess any brand of pre-mixed coolant will do.  

Maybe somebody will recommend a brand.

I used Prestone prediluted 50/50.  Just make sure you don't fill beyond the cold mark on the overflow.

Agree I use Prestone pre mix 50/50. Make sure the bottle clearly says that it is ok to mix with all colors. I think all of the Prestone says that these days but I always make sure.

@YYZRC. Funny.  But with the different types of anti-freeze used these days between automakers and even engines (esp diesels) one has to be clear which one to use.  😅😆
