410 TV speaker amp

We recently bought a 410 and I have been working and upgrading a few things. The PO replaced the TV above the firdge but did not mount it and told me he could not get the KLH speakers working either. I worked on it over the weekend and I think the small little amp is bad. Has any one ever replaced the amp and if so what did you replace it with?
