In prep of our Florida winter. And a question was brought up on inflatables. Wanted to be compliant. example's

Effective Jan. 1, 2010, boat operators who were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must have a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card to operate a motorboat with 10 horsepower or more. The requirement to take an approved boating safety course and to obtain an FWC-issued identification card did not change, but the age threshold for the educational requirements is now be based on whether or not you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988.

Are inflatable PFDs Coast Guard approved?
Inflatables are approved by the Coast Guard for stand–up paddleboards. These recreational PFDs, (low profile) have Type III performance and only approved when worn.

Visual Distress Signal

Required on the high sea and coastal waters only.

Must carry visual distress signal for both day and nighttime use.

NOTE: Coastal waters means the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and all bays, sounds, harbors, rivers, inlets, etc. where any entrance is over 2 miles wide to the first point where the distance between shorelines narrows to 2 miles.

No Banana's

It is the responsibility of the Capitan to insure there are NO banana's on board your vessel. If a Banana is consumed for breakfast it is still considered on board. Penalty's are given to the captain not passengers.
