Was hoping to go to the Boat Show this year as I'm in the market for a new boat..... Nope!

Yeah, we used to make it an annual outing. Book a room, Uber or TTC to the venue, couple of drinks looking at the show (makes for some interesting buying decisions) and then dinner, more drinks, overnight and back home the next day. Oh well, saves me $500.

I don’t imagine there would have been any unsold boats at the show anyway!!

Our boat show was pushed back a month while things cool down a bit with you know what.  I was looking at an electric brake controller by Curt in November for my new trailer. Price was $230 in November.  Its now $317. I pray nothing goes wrong with it this year as everything seems to be up 30% including fuel at $1.44 per litre (5.50cdn/gallon) and rising.  It won't keep me off of the water, but a major repair may make me exit the hobbie.
