342 and a 270..do they measusure..the same across?

Hey guys..I have a 2002 fiesta vee.270.and am looking to mount a radar bar from ebay on it..they say that they know it will work on a 342...does anyone know if this may fit??

The beam on my 342 is 12' and the arch mounts are close to 10-1/2' to 11' so very doubtful it will fit.

Anybody have any idea what  size radar bar will fit a 2002 rinker fiesta vee 270?

What’s the width of the hull at the windshield sides? You can use that measurement to compare to the ones for sale on GLS. You will also have to find one that matches the hull angle.

@maxwell when you say "radar bar" do you mean the antenna for a radar system, or the "radar arch" that was optional on a 270? If the arch, they are specific to the boat.

@YYZRC is the 280 the same beam as the 270?
The 280 looks so much bigger in person.

Quick google search said the 2002 270 and 2008 280 are 9'1" so maybe it would work? I have no idea if the hull design at the arch mount points is the same.

The 280 arch is a better looking design in my opinion if it fits.

That model year 270 has a rear facing arch and I'm sure, different mounting points.

Yes...and no. As much as I enjoyed being out on her I was starting to find the work involved in upkeep a bit of a drag. Wife wasn't enjoying it as much either, she suffers from vertigo and although she was ok the first 3 seasons she was starting to have issues the last season with the movement. The marina we were at had new owners that brought rentals in and a food truck which attracted too many outsiders with little security. And my financial advisor pointed out that the roughly 10 G's a year we were spending would go a long way towards staying someplace warm when retired and by putting that money away I was able to move my retirement date up by 18 months, so far.
I absolutely do not regret it and will likely get back into boating, but not a cruiser. We've gone to the dark side with a travel trailer that is at a park 15 minutes from our house and have friends there. So the social side of boating will continue. Just not while floating.
