Replacement J-Channel?

Help!!

Our tonneau cover attaches to our 2012 Rinker Captiva 212 BR via a rubber J-Channel strip. It’s very quick to install and remove…sadly after 10 years the J-channel is ripped and no longer secures the tonneau effectively. I’ve tried contacting Riker directly but that proved completely useless. Great Lakes Skipper store carries some, but it’s the wrong size. I contacted local boat fabric repair shops and they can’t find a match in their product catalogues. I also reached out to Ameritex Fabrics (owned by Taylor Made) the fabricators of our tonneau (even gave them the serial #) and they also have no information as they no longer make them. This is so frustrating. Does anyone out there know of any repair shops that specialize in Rinker tonneau repairs?  Or have access to this Rinker specific j-channel replacement part?  Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forum!  It sounds like you've tried all of the conventional contacts ... can you post a picture of the j-channel?

Its gonna be from a canvas supplier and not a hardgoods supplier.

The only issue I see with what @mvn posted is that they might not hold up to UV. Those clips are normally used to secure seat fabrics and are under out of the sun.

If they are black, chances are there is carbon black in the extrusion which would act as a UV stabilizer.

Okay, So I've included some new photos, the rubber trim is actually more of a "t-trim".  My bad, I just got a good look at it, I've drawn a diagram as well, hoping some of the "parts-sleuths on this forum can help me source it out.   Again, a big thanks in advance for all the help!

Is it soft rubber or semi-rigid plastic?  Can you take better profile pictures?  The drawing looks nothing like the photos.
