I recommend removing the glass and drilling the rivet out on a work surface. The whole walk thru is just held together with 4 Phillips screws. Very easy to disassemble.
I just did this repair on my 410. (Assuming it is the same as yours ) . Slide out panel after removing set screw in the middle of the track. Two small screws in both ends will slow you to slide aluminum rail off the glass seal. Drill out old rivet and install new lock with rivet . I had a rivet gun but if you don’t take it to a local window repair shop. The lock I bought at my local marine dealer.
Thanks Goalie. I already received the latch and have a friend with the rivet tool. I’ll hopefully be able to remove the frame like you did to protect the windshield. I’ll head to the marina this week to give it a shot.
Ian is right stainless rivets are tough but with a cobalt bit from Menards for steel and a drop of oil it’s a lot easier. I had to do a few this spring and was glad I had this bit on hand from adding drop fins to my trim tabs:
