2009 280ec electrical question

in Rinker Express Cruisers Forum
changed all the courtesy lights since they weren t working snce i baught the boat , is it normal that the courtesy lights come on with the the nav lights ?

    No, they should not come on with the nav lights

    So both switches turn them on? Probably a wire cross connected from the nav switch to the cockpit light switch.

    When out at night i want as few cockpit lights on as possible when underway.  I need every bit of my night vision working.

    I agree with you. I changed mine to blue. I have to change my switch covers since they are white. I am debating on blue or red lenses.
