    I'm guessing repowered.

You can even add a 4 axle trailer to the package.  Definitely not a cheap boat, but 496 in that thing should make it really go!

    Mercruiser MAG496 - 8.1L (and H.O.) motors were available from 2001-2010.
    Likely original equip.

Outdrive coolers too. Nice boat. Be effortless to plane.

Based on the condition of the cockpit cushions I would say she’s spent a lot of time with the side curtains and camper back stowed.  :#

One of our members has a Formula 350SS with twin 496 and he says 60mph no problem. Kept on a boatlift inside his boat house. He keeps that thing flawless so much he won't even take it out if there is a chance of rain.

Wait I lied they are the 8.2 mercs

I found one a few years ago with big blocks but it was equipped with v drives. According to Al there were a few built that way. No room to work on engines as the compartment was pretty much stuffed.

I ran across a 2003/4 342 owner here in Mich several years ago with those engines. Custom order..not on the normal engine option list.  Probably a bugger to work on!

My former EC 360 with the 8.2 Mag B lll option fully loaded for cruise would hit 50 mph. I rarely even used the trim tabs it jumped onto plane so fast. Those (new style) 8.2s are torque monsters. Never heard anyone complain that they had too much horsepower.

Overpriced, but the boating market is, at this time. Demand is still high. My nephew just ordered a new Phoenix bass boat, 22 weeks till delivery.

Polaris closed Rinker right as the pandemic hit. Logically one would have assumed consumer spending would have tanked, esp on big ticket items.  But here we are today…

Rinker was losing money, for a few years. Way before the pandemic. They cut there losses. Looking back they must have wished, they should have hung in there, as they would have recovered all losses.
