    Note the age of the tires in this recall.  

    Tires have an age time out: 6 years. Regardless of tread condition.

    I would say there’s still a lot out there. People think since there’s plenty of tread left they’re still good.

    Buddy of mine picked up a used 2016 bowrider/trailer last spring.
    Blew 2 of 4 trailer tires on the 30 mile trip from dealer. Everything inflated & checked before he left.

    @Black_Diamond imagine the date codes on the trailer tires were 2015.
    There's your 6 years....!

    Bought a 2014 Mustang convertible from a woman who put very few KMs on it. It had been certified by a ford dealership. The tires were the original Pirelli P Zero Neros - 13 years old!!!! Was a bit nervous running them at 120 KPH for four hours on the 401!
