Kohler 5E won’t restart

When cold my generator will start time first every time.  But when warm it tries to start and fails.   Where to start troubleshooting?

Always start with replacing the spark plugs.  

Do you have a sound cover for it?

The plugs were replaced earlier this year a during service. Yes I do run it with  the sound cover on.

try running without the service panel removed from the sound cover.
