older Lewmar windlass parts

Mother and step-father have a 2004 Stingray 240cs with a Lewmar horizontal windlass. The large gear is stripped and having trouble finding one. Local shop said it is backordered. The serial number on the windlass is 5680801302 and the part on the gear is 65001184 from what I understand. I haven't actually seen the gear as it was taken apart then put back together before I saw it. He said it is a 140 tooth gear.
