Where is the electric toilet freshwater pump in a 342

I have a 2006 342 with the OEM electric toilet.  Can anyone help me locate the seawater inlet pump for the toilet?  I know the supply seacock is back under the aft cabin next to the AC seacock. The AC pump is back there but the toilet seawater supply lines just run under the shower … no pump.  When flushing the toilet there’s obviously the Macerator at the base of the bowl with a distinct sound. The freshwater inlet is separate and not tied into the Macerator unit. It has the unique sound of a diaphragm or impeller pump coming from under the bathroom floor/behind the toilet. I can’t figure out how to find it or access it. I’d like to make sure it’s in good shape … it’s been getting louder recently.  Bonus points if anyone also knows the make/model of the pump so I can get spare parts or has done this before!

That pump is mounted behind the shower (at least on my 2003 342).  Remove the inset piece in the shower below the shower on/off handles.  You’ll see the pump mounted on the wall.

@MH342 does your toilet take in seawater or fresh water from your holding tank? My 330 uses fresh water from the tank.

My 2006 342 was the same as BD describes above, pump mounted behind the shelf in the shower.

aero they use raw water to flush. My current boat uses freshwater from the tank and it’s much nicer, no smell after sitting a week

@Liberty44140 , my 242 was like that and would start to smell. Having fresh water is a great option to have.

Thanks everyone, super helpful!  It was on my list to pull that shower caddy out someday to look around, so I’ll bump that up in priority.

Aero - I do have the raw water setup. I’ve never really noticed a smell, but then we are on freshwater. I also flush and fill with clean water from the shower when we leave at the end of a weekend.

That’s a good thing to do @MH342 , I ended up using freshwater from my sink to flush on my 242, it was a manual flush and on salt water.

Yep agree, always put fresh water from sink down before leaving for the week on the 342
