Video Switcher Rinker 410

The video switcher on my 410 will not pass a cable tv connection through to the tvs.  The DVD will pass to any or all of the tv sets.  Has anyone else had this issue?

That component is old and outdated. It may not work with a newer digital tv. I gave up on my old equipment after playing around with it for several hours. It is just sitting there as I take my home tv down and use it through wi fi.
