2006 360 EC Heat exchanger (possible debris inside)

I changed a "completely destroyed" impeller on my starboard motor and I'm still experiencing higher temps. The temps will bounce up and down but never run at 175ish like the port motor. After I changed the impeller, I flushed the heat exchanger and thought I had good flow. Any pointers on the best way to make sure my exchanger is clear of any impeller "left-overs"?
