    Bell and Evans has always been an expensive, premium brand. At Thanksgiving their turkeys are usually the most expensive bird in the case.

    Wegman's has whole organic chickens for $3.39/lb, and "regular" birds for $2.19/lb.

    My state just sent out checks, $650, per couple. to help offset inflation. Have you bought any paint as of late. I picked up a 5 gallon bucket of good quality exterior house paint $322. $64 per gallon before tax.

    I agree with the oil.  I bought oil last week and then looked at what I paid 2 years ago. Went from $78 for 3 gallon pack to $130!!  Crazy!  I had to buy two of those and then a six pack of gear lube ($94) which went up from ~$9/qt to $15/qt.

    The oil thing is really interesting. I've been paying $60 for a 5 gallon bucket of Rotella 15w40 for the last two springs, and it is now $64/bucket. Mobile1 is around the same. Merc/Quicksilver must be taking advantage of the market.
