It's perfect! Except for OUT DRIVES.. Sigh. I really want outboards, hidden somewhere, or at the very least, straight shaft inboards..

The boat is up on the sassafras.  I’ll be in still pond this weekend, one river down from it.  Good looking boat, have never seen it before.  Water is fresh in that part of the bay as well.

@J3ff I might be wrong but that boat doesn't have outdrives, it has pods with joy stick control. Might be way worse than outdrives. BTW I love my outdrives and the way the boat performs. I am not a big inboard guy (I know I am in the minority on this) but I love the way outdrives handle when cruising along...... Just say'n

Isn't OceanX - out drives?

It's okay, but at 11 months straight in the water, it all goes down hill at month 8, even if painted and running it once a week.. I even had it scraped a few times.. there's just no solution that I have found.

@J3ff I thought I saw a posting with that boat and it showed pods. I wasn't really paying attention that closely. There is one on yachtworld that has OceanX drives. When I click on the FB link it only gives me 2 pictures. So I cant double check but I thought this one had pods.

In 2005 Volvo used the composite drives which were a problem with the big blocks.
Volvo were replacing with the ocean x drives when they had issues under a goodwill program which are a duel prop like the bravo 3s.

@J3ff I know what the listing said but the pictures in the link showed pods. Tell you the truth I didn't even think Rinker used pods. Maybe it was just the angle of the picture I saw that looked that way.

I believe the only boat that came with pods as an option was the 420. I could be wrong.
