I Need help for Switch Rinker 250 FV

Hello, everyone ,
can someone help me with my problem with the switch for the bilge pump ?
It went on by itself, the little lamp won't go out anymore. I suspect that the switch is defective, but I can't get it removed and I can't pull the plug from behind with the cables.
I can lift the plate where all the switches are located just a little bit and can only get at it with a screwdriver. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to expand?
Thank you very much, greetings Peter.
The Switch Bilge Pump make the Trouble.
Best Regards from Cologne send´s Peter .

There’s a small pin that holds the connector to the switch. You need to push it in and pull the connector off. Then you can pull the switch body out from the front of the panel.

With the bilge pump, if it comes on due to high water (float activated), the light on the switch is on even when the switch is off. Maybe you have a stuck float?

    Sodele, short statement.
Bilge switch is free and not stuck.
It is, or actually was, a contact problem on the switch and the plug connection. There is a small nose that you have to press in and then you can pull off the plug (very difficult).
The little lamp went out as soon as I "lopped on" it and it stays that way.
Only after pressing to manually switch on the bilge pump does it now light up.
    Thanks again !

Tell us about boating in the Netherlands? What types of places do you boat? How long is the season? Pictures of boating?

Oh Yes ! The Dutch do a lot for Watersports and their Tourism .There are many berths in the lakes where you can stay up to 3 nights free of charge .

The only downside there are the gas stations, there are very very few that offer petrol, mostly diesel.

But all in all it is really nice there and it is not far to drive from my home. In an hour we are from the city of Cologne in the beautiful water area.

Very nice @Peter13. How long is your boating season? You brought a rinker from the US? Not a lot of manufacturers there?

    Hello rasbury ,

Our season runs from April to September/October. But I always check the weather first and then crane in and out .

That's right, a friend imported the Rinker from Nebraska and brought it to Holland. That was in 2017-2018 . I was looking for this boat at a good price and used only in fresh water and without antifouling. All in all, it was significantly cheaper to get it from the USA than to buy one here in Germany.

Actually the Rinker was supposed to be for Croatia but after the accident we brought her back home and now use her in Holland. In Croatia I charter a console boat every year.

That was in Croatia, Senj after the switchbacks. After the salvage, the boat was brought there to the workshop.  There, on the holiday trip to the island of Rab, both wheels suddenly jumped off on the left side. Insurance and appraisers have suspected manipulation. After that I was shocked and had no desire to trailer a boat back and forth.

Awesome, had no idea...when you reply to a question in a thread if you put @Peter13 the person will get a notification- otherwise they may only stumble across it.

What has the market there been on boats? Could not find one during covid but I see boats and rv's starting to have on lot inventory again...

    Hello rasbury ,

Unfortunately I didn't understand that , Sorry ! Did you want to know what the boat market was like when I was looking for one and found the Rinker in Nebraska?

Good morning @Peter13 Yes- that is what I was wondering but thought you purchased over there and not a direct purchase from the US.  Good luck with figuring stuff out....hit the forum up when you have a question. Slow time of the year for most members as most boats will not be in the water for some time...

    Hello rasbury and all ,

    Ah okay ,

Yes, I bought it from the USA at the time. I was partly overwhelmed because the range of great boats was overwhelming. :# In addition the price difference to here in Germany.

Thanks also all here for the help me in the forum  :)
Best Regards from Cologne send´s Peter .
