Adjusting OceanAir Shade Tension

My vee berth shade wasn’t fully retracting so I adjusted it. Instructions that I found online were not helpful or applicable to the model in my 350. 

I removed the shade assembly from the boat (4 screws) and then removed the screen assembly from the frame (2 tiny screws). I then carefully removed the end cap with the metal rod flattened (1 tiny screw) and rotated it clockwise one rotation. You have to be careful when you slide it out as it is under tension. Then reassemble.

The one above my fwd birth doesn’t fully retract, I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
