fuel guage not working

Hello everyone! I just bought a 2008Rinker Captiva 246 and love it. The fuel guage doesn't work though and I also found a small amount of fuel seeping around a large bolt imbedded in the fuel tank next to the fuel line mount. I would like to fix myself if possible. Any recommendations?
