How to fix a loose light socket cover on a stern light?

I have a Captiva 192 and the stern light socket is loose. It seems to me that if I remove it there should be something I can tighten up on the swivel top so that it closes securely. Right now there are only 3 screws holding the assembly in place. Has anyone taken this apart to try to fix a loose swivel top? I just did not want to open up a can of worms if I remove the screws and they would not go back in tight.

There is a very small screw that tightens the rotating cover to the light socket.  There is also a bent ss washer that serves to adjust the tension on the cover.  On mine, even though the screw was tightened all the way there was still not enough tension to snug up the cover.  I added a rubber washer under the ss washer to provide more tension.  The first pic shows the light cover the bent ss washer and very small screw that provides the tension.  The second pic shows the base of the socket and the washer that was added.   This fixed the problem.
