Inflating G-5 Polyform fender

Noticed fenders were looking a little deflated in the cooler weather.  Pumped a couple up with a basketball style needle valve pump.  Then came to this fender with the screwable cap.  What can I expect to see or need once I take this cap off?

The V-40 valve is designed for easy inflation and deflation of our largest products. This is not a non-return valve. To inflate the product, the valve is opened by turning the valve screw anti-clockwise 3-4 times (do not remove the screw). Inflate through the center hole of the screw itself, and tighten the screw.

@Willhound I reread your post and visited the link you posted.  The valve I have appears to be in the video.  I think I understand now.  Will try to inflate next time up to boat.
