Replace cockpit countertop?

Hey everyone, I am looking at a 330 EC for sale nearby and one of the cosmetic issues is that there is a large stain / bleached out on the cockpit countertop. Apart from covering it with counter mat of some sort, is it possible to replace this? Any other ideas?

    Hello @randallh82w8
    I own a 2008 330 and love it!!
Do you have a pic of the stain?
My counter top was dull and stained,I brought it back with olive oil.

If you do some searching, people have wet sanded the corian to get stains out as well.

Corian can be sanded. Sand it out. I had deep scratch's and I was able to sand them out with 180 or 220, and then bring it back to shine with 400,600,800,1000,1500,2000,3000 which brought it back to looking 90% like new and scratch free. I dry sanded with vacuum. It is a little duller than the original gloss which as Aero said will come back to 100% with some oil.... but I hate having to use oil periodically so I am going to use a sealer on it this year so that it is permanently oiled. I dont use olive oil, I use a countertop cleaner spray from Menards which I believe is a mix of mineral oil and something to thin it to make it spray. Same effect as the olive oil just much thinner.

I definitely think that will come out, no need to replace.

I agree, some sanding will take care of that.

Bet you could bring the corian surface back with polish, compound, etc (after sanding)
Imagine it would behave a lot like gelcoat.
    Buffer & small wool pads.

I have same boat.  I agree with above.  Definitely try sanding and buffing, like you would on gel coat.
