Steering Cable

Need to replace the steering cable on our 1997 Fiesta Vee 266. Does anyone know what length I need to get. Any advices is welcome before I dive in.

    pull the steering cable with a piece of string tied the the end of the cable look up the kind of technic to fish tape pull a cable with. I use it to replace throttle and steering cables. also look for any kind of part # that are marked on the cable to give you a reference # to find that cable it might even have the length imprinted on the cable housing.
