Anode kit

My quicksilver Anode kit for a Gen 2 Alpha 1 came with a small rubber plug ? Not sure where it’s suppose to go ?

It goes in the hole on the top side where you screw in the round anode under the cavitation plate.

I never had these but finally bought a pair and put on after anode change. Should keep those little oyster things out clogging up the hex.

Well mystery solved.  After some googling and figuring out the Mercruiser Parts site.  It’s a seal that goes up into the Hydraulic line block.  Up under the gasket and anode that bolts to the line block on the Transom housing
