Fridge Optimization

Looking for ideas on what people have done to optimize their cockpit fridge for beverages. 

I can’t stand cans up on the bottom because of the ridges. Laying them on their side is a big waste of space. 



I’m contemplating adding a starboard shelf to make the bottom flat but looking for ideas first.

    Would one of the bins from the cabin fridge fit on the bottom? Possibly lengthwise? Now that I think of it, I might use one up in the cockpit.

    If you raised the shelf 1 notch, would it allow you to stand cans/bottles up above and below?

    @Spyderweb standing them is no problem space-wise. The issue is that the bottom of the fridge has ridges and the cans fall over unless the fridge is completely full.
