Hello everyone Happy 4th of July, unfortunately we are out of the water doing some repairs and servicing the boat. The question is how to run the engines out of the water, we have been looking for some support and suggestions. Be safe everyone!

    Welcome to the forum!
It depends on a couple of things. If you have strainers or not and if your drives have an intake hole on the front of the drive (it would need to be tapped off). If you have strainers, you might even have a hose hook up at them, if not you’ll have to install one. If you don’t have strainers, you use muffs, see attached that attached to the intake vents of the drive.

If they are Volvo there should be a connection inside the engine bay to connect a regular garden hose.

@aero3113 I ran my 330 on muffs and it had closed cooling (strainers) - just gotta keep the seacocks for the strainers closed.

    Okay, nice!
Someone I knew had a strainer and a hose hook up at it.
