@YYZRC could you just mount the Bennett drop fins slightly inboard on each side of the tab and at the 6 degree angle that you calculated?  Only downside I see are a few holes in the tab.  Sure, you don't have them at full span, but...

I think, if you install Flux capacitor it would work just fine....

Looks like 15” x 22” will fit with no issues. That would be maintaining the outboard tab position and the extra 4” would be toward the drives. 

I swapped my cucumbers to the Bravo I position while I was at it.

The cucumber in the rear position is good. Might not need to modify the tabs at all. I can now get up on plane with 1/3 tabs and drives down. Any more than 1/3 tabs and the bow is too low and it plows.

Agreed @aero3113 ! The tech I use calls it a cucumber and so I adopted it.

Rinkers were engineered to be in this position from factory. (Bravo 1),
So I was told. Lots of mechanics pull the drives and put them back in wrong.
