My old one, while it still worked, had swelled so was time to replace, which I did. The main use I've had is to open the hatch for a dead battery. Guess what, this one does not work. That big head where it plugs in is full of safety features...and it did not like the hatch circuit. If you have bought one recently I'd check- and if you go to replace and old one hang on to the old clamps as my old ones plugged in and worked. *** some reason my picture won't upload- the old clamps are simple wires to a plug to the battery- the new has some sort of sensor in line with the wires at the plug.
