    I have a very large 28 footer, your cockpit sink/counter is bigger than what I have in the cabin. Definitely makes me want to upgrade. Very beautiful boat and looks like it lives up to the rinker status quo of cleanliness. That being said please post pics of the engine compartment!!!  Even us diesel fans love the 8.1.

    X2 for hard tops are the best....let the argument begin lol

    Nice boat.  Can anyone talk about fuel burn specific to this setup?  My 342 gets me roughly 1mpg at 3800 rpm and 26 to 28 mph cruise.

    This boat is the boat that got me into Hardtops.  Went for lunch on my friend's 370 from my 342 then I was like no heat from above ( I had Dark blue canvas on my 342).  After that weekend started looking and found the Rinker 400.

    Agreed @SimcoeRinker400 - the difference between a dark bimini and a hardtop is considerable. A white bimini would be great if not impossible to keep clean.

    @tricountytrail - you might be under-pitched.  Mine 2007 370 would do 0.8 mpg at 32 mph, and 0.7 mpg at 43 mph.

    I hit 47 MPH in my 400 half water and half fuel tanks Trimmed up minimum tabs out :)  GPS speed not speedo.  @Dream_Inn have you tested out your 400 for top speed??  My 342 was disappointing with the 270 Volvos only top out at 38 MPH.  400 with the 8.1's can do over 40 mph easily but it is not healthy for the drives to crank it all the time. :)   I like to cruise around 31mph anything below that it wants to fall out of plane unless full tabs are out.

    @SimcoeRinker400 I hope the broker fee is minimal. Zero effort on the listing description.

    So, before I changed out my props to the Hill Marine big cows, I hit 45-46 mph at top end.  With my big cow props (I have B-2 drives), I get 42-43mph.  But, unlike @SimcoeRinker400 , I now can stay on plane at 20mph and have good fuel burn.  She also gets on plane easily in 6 seconds (let me tell you, people are very shocked when they go for a ride and I never need to come close to full throttle coming up on plane). I cruise between 31-33mph usually averaging 0.7mpg.  Sometimes I'll see 0.8 mpg.  For anyone that is waiting for a little bit larger Rinker (390 with Diesels), I know of one coming up soon.

    The Beaches Guy will not remove it from his site as my friend told him that he was going to do it privately..  He was like you can never sell it privately.  I have sold all my boats privately..  He was let's see who sells it first was his response.  Anyway, he should not have it on his site. We will see I think the market from the feeling I am getting is really slowing down!!!

    No, I bought it with B2s.  I was unsure until Allen W. said he prefers the larger single prop with the bigger cruisers.  Unfortunately I’ve had a total of 3 new outdrives.  Two were due to hitting something in the middle of a channel, the third was found to be a defect of a gear.  I have been very happy with performance, especially with the 4 blade SS props.  I have to say that with the original 3 blade aluminum, I had problems with the hubs failing after a year or so.

    I did a lower unit in last year starboard side than this year caught the starboard upper drive gear going that sounded like a U-joint.  One thing I did add to the boat was drive showers last year which I think help keep things much cooler than having the drives just hang out of the water while crusing. :)

    Yeah, I think the family would want to get out more & often with more space and amenities. The 276 is so easy and cheap to operate, but it sits more than I like now. :(
    @JoeStang Boat is located on Lake Simcoe just north of Toronto.
    Thanks. Is there any relatively easy to way to get it to Huron or Erie? I'm guessing no trailer for it. I'm in Metro Detroit so shipping would be super expensive I'm guessing....

    Agreed, and really clean 40'ish boats with nice options are getting harder & harder to find near the $100k mark.
